Juan Manuel Correa is a FIA Formula 2 and World Endurance Championship Racing Driver for the 2023 season.
JM has been on a 2-year FIA F3 and ELMS campaign, which was the perfect program for a competitive environment behind the wheel of a car that will help him achieve his ultimate goal.
This year will see him join Van Amersfoort racing to compete once again in FIA Formula 2 - completing a heroic return to the championship!
He will also compete in the World Endurance Championship (WEC) with Prema Racing, in a partial campaign that will see him make his 24 Hours of Le Mans debut.
Born in Ecuador in 1999, JM has been in a fast paced career becoming a Cadet National Champion at only nine years old in Karting. Upon relocating to Miami, he competed on the main karting circuits in the USA winning the 2013 United States Rotax National Championship and then earning the rights to be named the Rotax Junior World Champion.
This success changed his life, and he was recruited by the Lotus F1 Team to join their Junior Driver Program, and at the early age of 14 years he moved to Europe, to start competing in the CIK/FIA European Karting Championship against the world's top Karting drivers.
JM’s passion, talent, and determination have enabled him to be among a very small number of drivers competing in the elite and exclusive club of the F3 and F2 feeder series. Those same characteristics are the reason why JM is now inspiring many with one of the most incredible comebacks in motorsport history.
